I like coming here in the summer for the clam shack. 2-3 of us split the high tide. Wednesday was the best day to go. Steven was the work and very friendly and there was NO sand in the clams (unlike Friday) they let us order half the clams raw. The clam shack is cash only. I never ordered food from inside but they have a pretty extensive menu for a little "pizza shack"
If I could select less than one star I would. This was the first time we ordered from here and will probably be the last.
We ordered a medium pizza with bannan peppers and green olives. The crust was terrible. It was a par backed crust that was not cooked fully. It was like eating thick cardboard. When we called to order the man on the phone was not very friendly. We were asked is that all you want? When we picked it up twice we were told they were short handed.
absolutely the worst clams and shrimp cocktail on the face of the earth, besides dirty tables, serving on paper plates and no napkins around the only thing that was good was the can of DR. PEPPER....stay away from this pig sty

Follow-up review. Still 3 stars for very good pizza, and it's cheap. Just make sure that the old man isn't doing the cooking. The bar atmosphere is, well, unique. I've ordered beer at the bar a few times and I would have thought that the beer prices would be a little lower for this kind of local watering hole, so I would not recommend spending a night at the rather rustic bar.
But I am a fan of the pizza most of the time, so I won't give it a negative rating.
Do not order the clams from the clam shack. They are the size of baseballs. Ordered 3 dozen not knowing they were top necks, think we ate 4 clams. They were like chewing a small rubber ball. Guess I should have asked, or a sign telling you there top necks. Went inside to get drinks and got I think was an 8 ounce plastic cup with 3/4 ounce of Vodka. Tiny cup, three sips and done.
